Emission Monitoring
Stack emission monitoring is used to determine the levels of solid, liquid and gaseous contaminants being emitted from industrial process plant.
These measurements are generally required for compliance to the legal requirement of operating in accordance with the process permit. This permit is issued by the local regulatory authority such as the local council or Environmental Agency.
The permit is issued with regard to the applicable Process Guidance Notes which are issued by Defra in association with the Environment Agency. We provide a full report in accordance with these Notes and other special conditions which are applied from time to time.
We carry out such measurement on such diverse processes including:
- Animal feeds dryers
- Biomass boilers
- Combustion processes
- Gas turbines
- Incinerators
- Laboratory fume cupboards
- Maggot breeding
- Peat kilns
- Scrap lead furnaces
- Synthetic protein production
Measurements are carried out in accordance with:
Technical Guidance Note M1
Technical Guidance Note M2
